Parade begins at Court St. & Main St. Ends at Alhambra Ave. & Main St. *subject to change \nFireworks Show \nThe Fireworks Show will be held at the Martinez Marina\, and will begin at approximately 9 p.m. Vehicle access to the Marina will be closed off between 6-7 a.m. and will include access at Berrellessa Street\, Ferry Street and Marina Vista Avenue. Only residents with a permit will be allowed into the Marina area. All vehicle access into and out of the Marina will be stopped at 6 p.m. until after the fireworks show concludes around 10 p.m. We encourage residents who live in\, or frequent the area\, to plan ahead. \nTo attend the Fireworks Show\, the City encourages the public to walk to the event\, park in and around the Downtown area\, or use ride sharing options. DESCRIPTION:The Kiwanis-Danville Parade will take place on July 4th from 9am-noon in downtown Danville\, California. \nThis year’s parade theme is Celebrating Businesses of the San Ramon Valley. \nThe parade attracts 30\,000-40\,000 spectators each year and is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate America’s birth \nDATE & TIME \nThe parade will begin at 9:00am on the morning of July 4th and will run 2.5 to 3 hours. \nLOCATION \nThe Parade will take place along Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard from approximately 9am to noon\, starting at San Ramon Valley High School at Railroad Avenue. The Parade route will end at Town and Country Drive like last year. The parade can be seen from either side of the street and there is always plenty of room for everyone! \nSEATING \nSidewalk space is available for bring-your-own-seating on a first come\, first served basis after 6:00 p.m. on Monday\, July 3rd. Unattended seating positioned along the route prior to 6:00 p.m. are subject to removal by the Town. Parade-goers are kindly asked to respect the following: \nDo not block handicap accessible ramps on the street corners or sidewalk access. Please be mindful of those who need to use the ramps as well as local merchants and property owners along the parade route. All unattended items set-out prior to 6:00 p.m. on Monday\, July 3rd are subject to removal. Please note that the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley\, Town of Danville\, and other organizing groups are not responsible for lost or stolen items. \nChalk and tape may NOT be used to reserve seating along the parade route as it creates a mess and in no way reserves your space. Volunteers and/or Town Maintenance staff may remove these markings and materials as part of the sweep. \nPlease be considerate. The downtown Danville area will be very crowded before\, during\, and after the parade. DESCRIPTION:This year marks it’s 53nd rendition\, Half Moon Bay’s beloved Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July Parade along with a Pancake Breakfast\, Block Party & Festival takes over Main Street\, transforming the charming downtown into a festive Red\, White and Blue celebration. \nThe Half Moon Bay Lions Club will be hosting its annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast in the City Hall parking lot (501 Main Street) from 8am to 11:30am. Buy your pancake breakfast tickets in advance online. \nThe parade starts at 12 noon and lasts approximately 90 minutes. \nA time-honored\, home-spun tradition\, the parade celebrates Independence Day in small town America with an entertaining array of whimsical floats\, marching bands\, horses\, community service groups\, classically cool cars\, decorated trikes and bikes\, parading pooches\, youth sports teams\, dance and theatre troupes\, photos and fun with the delightfully rotund\, playful and mischievious Pumpkin Festival mascot “Gourdy”\, a Color Guard by the American Legion\, and local dignitaries and celebrities slowly winding their way through the crowded downtown along Main Street between Filbert and Mill Streets. \nAdding to the festivities are the Coastside Chamber 4th of July Block Party in Mac Dutra Plaza with beer and wine\, live music\, a kids zone and a Patriotic Outfit Contest (ends at 3pm)\, plus IDES 4th of July Festival with live music\, food and drink booths\, arts and crafts vendors and kids activities (ends at 4pm).
